And now we have a place...

..... for all of our priceless treasures.

Yes, it is true, like I stated in the last post, the cupboards have arrived.
Here is the fruit of our hard labors this past few days:
These french-doors are harder to install than you might think.. but they look nice now that we're done with them. This is the office right off of the foyer.

This is the color of the outside of the house and a look at the stone up close.

Here Noah is doing something with that saw. He's really got a mind of his own, and I haven't figured out the rhythm for house-putting-together yet. For a while there, I was nurse-by-day and painter/carpenter/good-little-wifey-by-night, but I am considering dropping down to just good-little-wifey @ night. It is a dilemma.
Moral of the story: A working Noah = a happy Noah.

A look into our new kitchen. The island is not in the right spot, it should be pushed closer to the other cabinets. But you get the general idea.
FYI: if you would like to know what it feels like to be Samson, ask your husband to let you help install the upper cabinets.

Here is a photo looking from the kitchen into the living room area. the stone on this fireplace will be the same as the stone on the outside of the house (see photo above). I am very proud of my shelving, where I hope to further develop my collection of books. ;)
Oh and as you can see, we make frequent trips to Butler's Coffee shop for re-fueling.
