March 11, a group of 5 Registered Nurses from Dordt College went to Haiti. We stayed with a couple who are missionaries in that area. We spent our time setting up clinics for children and adults. It was very evident the need for nutritious food in that area. The water is also poor and many of the people suffer from parasites that are found in the water.
We stayed in Haiti for one week and returned to the United States on March 21.
