This weekend we went to DesMoines for a few showers for my cousins, and stayed with Noah's sister Leah in Ames. Saturday morning, we ran out of time for golfing, and went to check out the Iowa Arboretum in Milan, IA instead. There were many different varieties of shrubs, perennials and trees. Leah and I had a good time identifying types of conifers, and other trees.
This was one of the hosta gardens under some clump trees.
Echinecea (?) spelling may not be correct on this purple=coneflower, but it was very pretty.
