20 (almost) weeks

Tomorrow marks 20 weeks that our little guy/girl has spent incubating.. only 20 more to go!

Pregnancy Tickers from WiddlyTinks.com

Yesterday was our mid-term ultrasound. Noah came along with me to the hospital to take another look at our baby. As far as we know, everything with baby looks good and the heart rate was right up at 160 again.  S/He was pretty active and insisted on having his hands up by his face throughout the procedure as you can kind of see from this picture (use your imagination):

According to ultrasound, my dates are right on, so my due date is still right around June 6. One thing I learned yesterday was that baby is now too big to see all at once on ultrasound. I think according to once source I read it is about as big as a cantaloupe? (which is crazy to me because I can't figure out where it is hiding inside me..) I don't have room for a cantaloupe in there!

Ok. Another picture. Here is a cute pair of toesies:

And lastly, the best picture of all, the profile view:
(looks like their daddy don't you think?)

Its hard to believe that this little one has tripled in length and weighs 10x more than they did at 13 weeks (remember when they were the size of a peach?)

To summarize, we are very thankful for a healthy pregnancy, and yesterday was just more proof of all of the wonderful things God is placing together perfectly.

Blessings in the rest of your week!

Your baby will be perfect because s/he has perfectly beautiful, loving parents! Can't wait to welcome the little "watermelon" to this world!
