February Florida Fun

Noah and I went to Florida in February for some pre-baby fun. Not that it won't be fun AFTER the baby, it will just be a different kind of fun. But, for example, we stayed up until 1 in the morning because we wanted to. In a few months, we'll be staying up -- and getting up again -- because baby wants to. :) And that will be great. ("I will love getting up in the middle of the night.. I will love getting up in the middle of the night.. I will love....") I"m getting more excited just writing and thinking about holding the little guy/girl.

Going to Florida was a good chance for Noah and I to be together, just the two of us, and not worry about anybody else's agendas. A few highlights of our trip:

1. Visiting an orange grove and picking from orange, tangerine, and grapefruit trees. And of course you can see baby fedders is growing too. :)

2. American Alligators on Lake Toho. this one was less than 14 feet from our airboat, and the guide said he was about 14 feet long. (gulp)

3. Shamu!  The trainers at SeaWorld are something else! I can't figure out how they can train these killer whales to follow the music, swim in sync, etc... It must be all those fish they feed them throughout the show.

4. Here we are at the Gulf of Mexico near Tampa Bay.
